What is the meaning behind your brand name?
Woodlot is a piece of land that can be mined for secondary resources, we felt that our home was our Woodlot. A lot of businesses like ours are started from home, this space provided us with the resources to launch our business.
How/why did you start your brand?
Woodlot was founded in 2014 out of our home in Vancouver, Canada. It was born from a desire for natural, plant based products which infused the best essential oils for aromatherapy.
What was your biggest obstacle with launching a brand?
Launching a brand with minimal resources.
What motivates you to grow your brand?
Our customers and team members inspire us to grow our brand.
Any tips and tricks on using your products?
Combining cleansing balm with exfoliant, placing mists and toner serum in fridge, adding some drops of facial oil to the moisturizing for an added boost, we also love burning palo santo in the bathroom before taking a shower to create a spa like experience, dropping some Recharge essential oils on the shower floor for added scent.
